With Time
Everyone’s Village can only grow as fast as we can build it. From volunteer work days helping to build Cottages of Hope to meeting with Executive Director Gabe to think and process through organizational growth and community challenges, one of the most impactful ways to help make homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring in your community is to share your time with the Village helping us to help the most vulnerable in our community.
Resources
With a quickly growing Village, now sheltering over 60 folks, donating needed goods is a great way to help Villagers move meaningfully and sustainably towards standing on their own two feet, regaining flourishing and giving back to the community. Good quality used clothing, shoes, bedding and basic homegoods, toiletries, books and art supplies/craft activity supplies are always in demand at the Village.
Financial
Everyone Village as a model of restorative community is working. The Village, in its first year-and-a-half, has seen over 85% of Villagers improve dramatically in health, reestablish supportive relationships and engage wrap-around support services. In this same time over 30 Villagers have regained employment in the community or through our workforce development recycling program and over 10 Villagers have transitioned into permanent housing of their own. All of these great success stories are inspiring other Villagers and many still living on the streets to begin taking the steps towards exiting homelessness meaningfully and sustainable. It takes dollars to make ‘sense’ out of the work it takes to help folks lift themselves up and into flourishing lives. Supporting Everyone Village financially ensures the Village’s dynamic restorative work and needed growth can continue.
